# zicula-indie-starter-kit — free sample

Three real files from the full starter (24 source files + buyer guides in
English, German and Japanese), each **trimmed to taste** — enough to judge the
code quality, not enough to run a product:

- `pricing-table.sample.tsx` — the Hobby card of the pricing table from
`components/PricingTable.tsx`. The full component renders all three plans
from `config/pricing.ts` with a "Most popular" badge; this excerpt shows the
pattern that matters most: a missing Stripe payment link renders a disabled
button and a setup note — the checkout never breaks because a link is empty.
- `middleware.sample.ts` — the locale-routing brain from `middleware.ts`,
complete: cookie → `Accept-Language` → default, so `/about` lands on
`/en/about` (or the visitor's language). The full file adds the matcher that
skips Next internals and static files, and the pass-through branch for
  already-prefixed URLs.
- `architecture.sample.md` — the opening of `docs/architecture.md`: the
big-picture map (what runs where), the full rendering model, and a teaser of
the i18n flow. The auth flow, payments flow, env-var table and deploy notes
  are in the full document.

What the full kit adds:

- All 7 pages (`app/[lang]/`): landing, pricing, login, signup, protected
dashboard, localised 404 catch-all — plus `globals.css` and the root layout
  with per-locale `<html lang>`
- Auth that degrades honestly: `components/AuthForm.tsx` and
`DashboardClient.tsx` show a friendly "not configured" notice when Supabase
env vars are missing — and the dashboard still redirects to login
- The i18n system: `lib/i18n/` with type-checked EN/DE/TH dictionaries (a
missing key is a TypeScript build error, not a blank page) and the
  `LanguageSwitcher` client component
- `config/pricing.ts` — the only file you edit to change plans, wired to
Stripe Payment Links via env vars
- Buyer guides in three languages (`README-buyer.md` master + DE + JA
condensed): Supabase setup, Stripe links, Vercel deploy — 45–60 minutes to
  live on free tiers
- `docs/roadmap-v2.md` (the honest v2 list), `MANIFEST.md` (every file, one
line each) and the single-developer commercial license
